CO2 sensor LC
The model CO2 LC is a microprocessor controlled gas analyzer using non-diffractive IR detection (NDIR) for determination of CO2 concentration. This low price CO2 sensor is characterized by low power consumption, a wide supply voltage range of 8 V … 15 V and simultaneous integration of current and voltage interface. A microprocessor controls all necessary functions and performs calculations which allow fast customer specific adaptations by software variations. Different calibrations for the ranges of 0 -10%/ 11%/ 30% and 100% CO2 are available.

Anesthetic gases pose a potential health hazard for medical personnel in operating rooms and may affect their work. Therefore, special demands for the safety at work are given. A permanently secure observation of the threshold values proves to be difficult in practice, as operation schedules as well as respective techniques and personnel changes frequently. The N2O monitor measures gas concentration by means of an optical measuring cell. This cell determines the nitrous oxide concentration with an absorption measurement in the infra-red range. A LCD display constantly shows the current N2O concentration. The system is controlled via a foil keyboard that can easily be cleaned. The measurement parameters can be set according to the requirements (shift duration, N2O concentration for pre- and main alarm etc.). Moreover, leakages can be detected rapidly and precisely via an optional leakage detection function. The system stores the measurement data of up to two weeks.
