The TRISTAN® spectrometer series is the result of m·u·t‘s long lasting experience in optoelectronics and photonics. It covers a wide range, from desktop scientific spectrometers to modular customized solutions. All of them are based on the same optical engines and software algorithms. The off-the-shelf solutions have been designed to meet the customary requirements with regard to spectral range, optical resolution and sensitivity.
The off-the-shelf configurations of the TRISTAN® engine cover the range from 200nm to 1100nm and are based on a 2048x14 Pixel back thinned CCD sensor. These configurations set new standards for off-the-shelf spectrometers with regard to sensitivity, dynamic range and noise. For the most common applications, TRISTAN® spectrometers with this detector offer the best possible performance – Price relationship. |

TRISTAN® NIR versions use InGaAs sensors with 512 Pixels. Due to the different spectral range and the cooling what is required for most NIR applications, these spectromters have different specifications and a larger optical engine compared to the silicon-based versions. The pre-configured TRISTAN®-NIRs use latest sensor technology, offering widest NIR-range what is available for commercial use.
These configurations of the optical engines are available in all TRISTAN® models (NIR not available in TRISTAN®5). The whole assortment of serial Tristan® spectrometers is shown in the following overview:
