Dip probes are used for transmission and reflection measurements. They are made of seven fibers. Six fibers are used for illumination and one fiber in the center of the illumination fibers for the light reflected from the sample.
Reflection dip probes
The standard version is the UV / VIS / NIR probe for a spectral range from 200 nm up to 1100 nm. For extended NIR a probe from 450 nm up to 2200 nm is available. Every dip probe has two SMA 905 connectors. One is for the light source and one for the spectrometer. The diameter of all fibers is 200 µm. The length of the fibers is 2 m.
Transmission dip probes
Transmission dip probes have an integrated mirror system. The optical path between the mirror and the end of the fiber is variable from 0.5 mm to 20 mm. All of them are optimized for usage from 200 nm up to 1100 nm or 450 nm - 2200 nm.
