m·u·t has developed a series of ready-to-use light sources for the most common applications. They are designed for easy handling, equipped with SMA 905 connector and a shutter with additional external trigger control.
The housing of the ILLUMIA series sources is exactly half as wide as the TRISTAN light housing. For typical desktop setups in research and development the spectrometer and two light sources can be stacked to help save space. |

The ILLUMIA ViS/NiR
is equipped with a tungsten-halogen lamp and has a continuous spectrum from 340 nm to 1700 nm.
The ILLUMIA UV/ViS
is equipped with a tungsten-halogen lamp and a D2 lamp. The lamps can be used simultaneously or individually. The ILLUMIA UV/ViS has a continuous spectrum from 200 nm to 1100 nm.
The ILLUMIA LED
The LED technology provides a variety of different spectral ranges. The typical LED light source comes with an narrow intensity peak at 470 nm. Additionally m·u·t offers a LED light source covering the whole visible range.
