ARTUS ECO

ARTUS ECO is a fully automatic temperature measuring and monitoring system. It uses a modern LWIR microbolometer camera to precisely measure surface temperatures at an accuracy of up to 0.07K using a contactless method. If the specified range is exceeded in a segment of the monitored area, the system triggers a fully automated alarm. At the same time, the danger zone is highlighted in color in the live video image, making it clearly visible.
Infrared technology allows accurate measuring of temperature differences even across wide distances. Smoke and fog are virtually transparent in the infrared range and thus only slightly affect temperature measurements. The fully automated monitoring process eliminates the need for additional operating expenses and resources. Consequently, ARTUS ECO is the ideal safety system for monitoring conveyor belts in warehouses and protecting property from damage.

Safe, secure and fully automated monitoring
ARTUS ECO automatically and continuously checks the monitored area to make sure it is within the specified temperature thresholds and detects potential hazards if the thresholds are exceeded. Based on definable limits for the temperature measurements, ARTUS ECO is very accurate with regard to triggering an alarm. To facilitate exact temperature measurements, ARTUS ECO has a manual compensation option for the background temperature.
Up to two isolated (potential-free) relay contacts transmit the information about the limit values reached. Likewise, up to two PCs can be connected for video monitoring purposes. The live video image, which highlights any exceeded limit values in color, provides operators with an immediate overview of the situation directly on-site. In addition, the PCs can sound an acoustic alert signal. Users do not have to intervene in ongoing operation or during alarm incidents and alarm acknowledgment is an additional option.
