Document Authentification System

The given task

Passports, Visa and tickets carry multiple security marks inside today. But it is impossible to check them in daily business at the immigration offices because it simply takes too long. An automated system checking 7 different identification features within 1 second was required. It needs to be of a compact and easy-to-use design.

The solution

A compact unit was developed by m-u-t, with seven independent identification systems for optical and RFID security features. It handles and compares the results with a database for identification. It is working fully automatic, without any handling by the user and is therefor ready for self-service stations.

The compact and easy-to-use design allows easy integration in existing installations.

The system is used all over the world right now and helps to make our world safer without additional growth of waiting lines at the gates.
